Our Trios 3Shape Digital Impression Scanners make the process of taking impressions faster, easier, and more accurate. The process consists of a scan with a wand that allows us to highlight relevant areas that are sent to the lab for abutment and crown preparation.
The Trios 3 Digital Impression Scanners provide a more realistic scan experience in which we are able to better evaluate clinical situations through the use of natural colors and high definition photos. These features allow for better case documentation that we can easily relay to our patients.
Our protocol can eliminate additional appointments that would normally be necessary, which helps take away the hassle and stress from patients having to rearrange their busy schedules. Moreover, patients will not gag on traditional impression materials!
Sprintray’s incredibly innovative digital workflow and 3D printers allow us to make accurate and highly reliable dental parts and biocompatible appliances, like dentures, crowns and bridges, clear retainers, and surgical guides, faster and more affordably than existing alternatives right in our office. It’s all part of Dr. Nguyen’s commitment to the next generation of digital dental practices.
ICAM Photogrammetry equipment offers the most efficient and effective method for capturing implant positions today. Using the ICAM4D’s photogrammetry capabilities, Dr. Ngyuen can produce a completely model-free digital implant. The camera unit produces three-dimensional images of upper and lower arches in less than 60 seconds. We take pride in offering less invasive methods to reduce our patient’s chair time and allowing patients’ mouth’s to comfortably sit in the resting position.
Physicians have relied on computerized axial tomography scans (CAT) for years. Today, many dentists rely on 3D imaging scans to provide them with a detailed view of the mouth and skull. 3D scans are quick and simple to perform. A Cone Beam Imaging System is at the heart of the 3D scanner. The cone beams are used to take literally hundreds of pictures of the face. These pictures are used to compile an exact 3D image of the inner mechanisms of the face and jaw. The dentist is able to zoom in on specific areas and view them from alternate angles.
Philadelphia Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery’s state-of-the-art surgical center includes a Cone Beam Scanner. Only a few practices in the region have this machine in their offices. The benefits to our patients are many:
Dr. Nguyen works in an innovative, state-of-the-art dental center designed to deliver exceptional patient care using the most advanced technology available, which includes an intraoral camera. The intraoral camera enlarges the inside of the teeth to more than 40 times their actual size on a full-color screen display. By zooming in on problem areas affecting the teeth, Dr. Nguyen is capable of seeing much more than typical with the human eye alone. Often, the doctor can discover the beginnings of periodontal disease or tooth decay that would have otherwise gone undetected if examined without the intraoral camera.
