With a broad educational background, Dr. Nguyen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1997 with distinguished awards in Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Operative Dentistry. Because of her passion for surgery, she went on to complete a five year internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital.
As a testament to her success, she earned her Diplomate with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She has earned fellowships in the Academy of General dentistry and American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial surgery.
She has taken extensive hours of continued education, both internationally and nationally, in implantology and hard and soft tissue grafting, and is a faculty member of the prestigious Resnik Implant Institute. She has earned her diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a world wide recognized organization.
Remaining up to date in her surgical field, Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In addition to her clinical role, she believes in giving back to the community. She has been involved in several mission trips to provide oral surgery and restorative care in Northern Africa, Southern Asia and Indian Navajo reservations in Arizona.
Dr. Nguyen has a unique skill that most Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons do not have. She practiced as a General Dentist for almost 13 years prior to her endeavors in surgery. This synergistic knowledge of Oral Surgery and General Dentistry offers a higher level of care.
